CYBERSOLVER MODEL BUILDER





CyberSolver is a software package for building stochastic Markov models of ion channel kinetics. It also supports Hodgkin-Huxley models. CyberSolver features a simple, user friendly drag-and-drop interface. Users enter rate coefficients for Eyring type equations, or complex equations using C syntax. Arbitrary models derived directly from experimental measurements can be entered in spreadsheet mode without equations. Temperature and drug dependence can be included. Voltage clamp data can be directly imported into CyberSolver to compare against modelled data.



CyberSolver can run off-line simulations to validate models. Models are converted to Channel Definition Files (CDFs) for direct use by the Cybercyte Dynamic Clamp System.



CyberSolver is a fantastic educational tool for instructing students on the nuances of mathematical modeling and ion channel using the Markov formalism.
